Café Manila offers a variety of dishes that are the favorites and the everyday food of the Filipinos but not in the traditional way.

Café Manila is located in beautiful Kirribilli, just on the north side of the harbour bridge 45a Broughton Street, Kirribilli, NSW

We have recreated our chosen dishes from traditional recipes but present them in a more contemporary plate moving away from the traditional way of "rice in the big plate and dishes on the serving bowl with sawsawan" (dipping sauces on the side) dining style. As this might be perceived as “fusion” to some, you will find that all our dishes are true to the original taste from the different regions of the country. From the salad of Itlog na Maalat (salted duck eggs) with heirloom tomatoes, red onion and green mangoes, to our Chicken Inasal, grilled marinated chicken fillets and served with a delicious banana blosson salad to the Pinakbet, with all the traditional vegetables and prawns, to the Lechon, crackly skin roast pork with our house made lechon sauce to the Bistek Pinoy and the house specialty of Chicken Adobo, we have respected the timeless recipes handed down to us.

Some people have mentioned to us that, yes, Filipino food would probably be the first known fusion cooking in Asia since the Spaniards colonized the archipelago for the Spanish crown in 1571! but our food at Café M may not be considered as such.

With a seasonal menu change and our weekly specials, Filipino food has never been this exciting and deliciously fresh tasting than at Café Manila!

Come in and see us soon!
